Developed by Carma, the Calgary lake community of Auburn Bay began construction in 2003. Auburn Bay is a new suburban residential neighbourhood in the south-east quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. A proposed southeastern extension of the city's C-Train system is planned to run along the community's eastern boundary, parallel to 52nd Street.

The fees for the Residents Association could be as high as $410.00 for standard lots, $564.00 for lake access lots and $820.00 for lake lots plus GST. These prices would be subject to annual inflationary increases. Initial fees charged may be lower than these maximum fee limits.
